Exploration of Blender

I've always loved and appreciated the world of 3D design and couldn't fathom how it was done to such a high quality and standard. I recently started my 3D journey using the well loved software Blender and I'm loving it so far!

To get a better understanding of the software, I have been following the amazingly talented @BlenderGuru on YouTube. His tutorials are so simple to follow and he makes them so accessible to any computer or experience level. The tutorial I have now completed is the infamous donut tutorial which helps you understand all aspects and areas of the program whilst also creating something you can be really proud of. This has really helped me and my understanding of Blender and how it works (even if it was 16 parts).

I'm now moving onto his chair tutorial as I felt that would be a natural progression from flying spinning donut. However I thought it was important to share the final result of my Donut and the tutorial that has helped me find a software that I'm a bit obsessed with.

I will probably be posting more Blog posts about my Blender Venture and the different parts I learn on the way but at this current moment, I am really enjoying the amount you can do and how it can look however you want! The next task is finding a way of bringing my render times down!

Until then, thanks for reading my Blender love letter.
