Over the pandemic, we have seen many male dominated voices on a variety of platforms as well as treating humans as numbers or statistics. HerStory is all about embracing woman’s voices and stories through the pandemic and what amazing things they have been able to accomplish.
HerStory was a freelance project that I was lucky enough to work on to be part of the Frequency festival in Lincoln. I was the lead graphic designer on the project and worked with a web designer to create the majority of the design. I designed the logo and picked out a colour scheme that I felt represented the mood and audience they were keen to entice. I was also in charge of the way finding for the project and created a map that helped people easily locate the festival. I enjoyed the process for this project as it allowed me to work with some really lovely people for a project that helped shine a light on these woman’s stories.
